Alec Baldwin had a tough start to his weekend on Friday when he was arrested and charged with assault and harassment.
Channel24 reports that the actor allegedly hit a man in the face, after he stole Alec's parking spot right outside of his New York City home.
Channel24 explains, "The driver of the station wagon told police Baldwin hit him with his hand, but wasn't sure if it was a punch or a slap."
According to the police, one of Alec's family members was holding a parking spot for him, but as he tried to park a person swooped in with their Saab station wagon and grabbed the spot.
Police said that the 49-year-old driver, was taken to the hospital, complaining of jaw pain and redness in the neck.
The incident happened around 1:30pm.
Baldwin was arrested and taken to a nearby Greenwich Village police precinct.
Released a few hours later, he ignored reporters and hopped into a waiting SUV.
