According to a report by SFGate, Alec Baldwin has pulled out of playing the role of Thomas Wayne in Warner Bros." upcoming ?Joker,? origin film. Baldwin, The 60 year-old Baldwin, citing 'scheduling,' told USAToday, "I?m no longer doing that movie. I?m sure there are 25 guys who can play that part." The origin story is set to be directed by Todd Phillips, with Joaqin Phoenix slated to play the iconic Batman villain. Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow will co-produce the film.
