The Grammy Awards best dressed stars
The Grammy?s might be all about the music, but what would any award ceremony be without the fashion. There were some definite trends hitting the red carpet.
Silvery embellishment featured heavily. Katy Perry worked a 1930?s inspired midi dress with lavender hair. Paris Hilton showed off her more curvaceous figure in a fitted sequin gown. Rita Ora went for space girl chic in a high neck beaded gown with a futuristic blonde crop and Lady Gaga went for full on old school glamour in a plunge neck, thigh split dress and sweeping silver locks.
As always black was the go to colour for many guests. Beyoncé was leading the way in an elegant v neck ensemble. Jessie J upped the style factor in a trailing sheer number. Nicki Minaj rocked a low cut column dress. Miley Cyrus went for tight and cut out and Gwen Stefani showed of her fashion credentials in a jumpsuit.
Feeling blue was Taylor Swift and Iggy Azalea who opted for varying shades of the hue.
But, breaking the fashion mould, and not for the first time, was Rihanna who looked show stopping in a sugary pink tired gown. On anyone else it would?ve looked like a blancmange but Riri made the layers of tulle and sparkling embellishments look edgy and cool.
