Award season is now in full swing for the
New Year as a host of celebrities arrived at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York
City for The National Board of Review Gala.
The cameras immediately focused on America
Ferrera who looked a far cry from her former character Ugly Betty in a slinky
LBD. The thirty year-old actress? film How to Train Your Dragon 2 was being
honoured at the event for the Best Animated Feature Film.
It wasn?t just about America though, as
Bruce Willis was also in attendance. The movie legend presented Michael Keaton
with the Best Actor award for his role in the film Birdman. It was a great
night for Birdman as Edward Norton also took home the gong for Best Supporting
Actor.
Other awards
including Best Actress went to Julianne Moore for her role in Still Alice,
while Jessica Chastain won the Best Supporting Actress for her performance in A
Most Violent Year, which also took home the award for the Best Film.
