You be forgiven for thinking that Jessica Chastain was hitting the red carpet for another Interstellar promo outing.
Her futuristic dress was sartorially hinting at the space adventure science fiction flick that she?s been tirelessly promoting lately.
But, it seems her busy schedule and endless premieres have muddled her fashion sense, either that or she picked up the wrong dress at the dry cleaners.
Because, she was in fact attending the premiere for her other new offering, 1980?s period drama, A Most Violent Year, at the AFI opening night gala.
The usually flawless Zero Dark Thirty actress looked more Star Trek than movie star in her PVC, blue, bobbly, V-neck number.
Fortunately for Jessica her glorious looks and silky hair meant that even through she scored a major fashion fail she still lit up the red carpet and stole the show.
