Mick Jagger hits the red carpet for premiere of his new movie Get On Up
Mick Jagger enjoyed his big night as he hit the red carpet in New York for the premiere of his new movie Get On Up.
The rock star, who has had a difficult year after tragically losing his longterm partner L’Wren Scott was surrounded by friends and family as he attended the event, including his son Lucas Jagger and Lucas?s mother Luciana Gimenez.
Get On Up, which was produced by the Rolling Stone front man, is a biopic of legendary soul star James Brown, played by Chadwick Boseman. It charts Browns rise from abject poverty to super stardom.
It?s not the veteran rockers first foray into making movies though. He produced the acclaimed Second World War code breaker movie Enigma back in 2001 and through his career has been in front of the camera countless times.
