According to Comicbook.com, Iggy Azalea says she was the top choice to portray Rita Repulsa in the 2017 Power Rangers movie. Elizabeth Banks took on the role in the film. In an interview with Nick Cannon on his radio show on Power 106, Azalea joked that she "can't act" and referenced her Postmates commercial as proof. She added, "You know what, funnily enough, random story, I was almost the villain in a movie. Power Rangers. You had to film it in like Vancouver or somewhere and it took like a movie length amount of time and I was like 'I ain't doing that.'" She explained that, in actuality, she was intimidated by the acting gig.
