Broadcasting Cable reports MTV is creating a spinoff of late ?90s animated series 'Daria.' Tracee Ellis Ross will voice Jodie, the main character, and she will executive produce the show, which is called 'Jodie.' 'Daria' ran from 1997 to 2002, and was a spinoff of 'Beavis and Butthead'. In the new series, Daria?s friend Jodie Landon enters the workplace in her first post-college job in tech. MTV says, ?What Daria did for exploring the inanity of high school, Jodie will do for exploring the trials and tribulations of a first job. Jodie will satirize workplace culture, Gen Z struggles, the artifice of social media and more.? Ellis Ross is best known for playing Rainbow Johnson on 'Black-ish.'
