Dave Bautista said he was nervous about the role in ?Guardians of the Galaxy? until he met James Gunn. According to Comicbook.com, he said he could tell Gunn wanted Bautista to play Drax in the film. Bautista said: "He directed me in a few different ways and we were already connecting. James and I connected really fast."
