VIDEO : Nickelodeon Actor Michael D. Cohen Is Proud Of His Transgender Journey

CNN reports that Nickelodeon star Michael D. Cohen has announced he is proud of his transgender journey. The "Henry Danger" actor shared with the public that he transitioned nearly 20 years ago. Cohen has portrayed Schwoz on the Nickelodeon series since 2014. He spoke with reporters about his journey saying; "I was misgendered at birth, I identify as male, and I am proud that I have had a transgender experience -- a transgender journey." Cohen also said the current political landscape that has seen the rollback of protections for trans people helped inspire him to go public with his story.
