According to Business Insider, "The Duchess of Sussex did not "request or give permission" for her friends to take part in the CBS special about her, Buckingham Palace said in a statement." The CBS special, 'Meghan and Harry Plus One,' aired last Friday, May 17th. In it Gayle King interviewed Markle's closest friends about her family life with Prince Harry and about how good of a mother they think she'll be to her new baby Archie. It is now apparent after the Buckingham Palace gave this statement, Markle may not have given her friend permission, "The Duchess has not had any involvement in the CBS special, nor has she requested or given permission to friends to participate."
