VIDEO : 'Game of Thrones' Scores Record Audiences

More than 19.3 million U.S. viewers watched the series finale of television?s ?Game of Thrones?.
Last night set a record audience for HBO, Reuters reports the cable channel said on Monday.
The finale was also the most-watched single telecast ever on HBO.
The previous record was set by crime drama ?The Sopranos? in 2002.
While those records are impressive, there is another number climbing that has a lot of people impressed.
Over 1.2 million fans worldwide had signed a Change.org petition, criticizing Season 8 and calling for a remake.
The television series' writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have not made any statements.
