Wu-Tang Clan's de facto leader, RZA, said if he had to choose again, he would still give his blessing to the creation of "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin."
There is only one copy of the double album that exists in the world. It became famous when former pharmaceutical executive, Martin Shkreli, bought it for $2 million.
According to Business Insider, "Shaolin" was a sore subject for many in the legendary rap group. In a new documentary, ?Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men,? the group members explain that they believe the album was a disservice to their fan base.
RZA, however, said ?From the time that project existed, it was a proper time to do what it did ... I would do it again because that's the myth of Wu."
Sitting beside RZA, Wu-Tang member Inspectah Deck adds, ?It?s sad people couldn?t hear it.?
