Tyra Banks was first featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 1996. According to Allure, it was the first time a black woman had a solo cover for the magazine. Twenty-three years later Banks returned to the cover in a yellow bikini. With this cover, at the age of 45, Banks becomes the oldest woman on a Swimsuit Issue.
