Avengers: Endgame broke the global box office record that was previously held by James Cameron?s ?Titanic? for two decades.
The Titanic figure in question, $2.1 billion, sank to the bottom of the ocean after ?Endgame? passed $2.2 billion worldwide this week.
According to Uproxx, James Cameron took to Twitter to acknowledge the success of Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige and his crew.
Titanic?s record still stands stateside with $659 million, but it should take less than a week for Endgame, currently at $644 million, to pass that record too.
