Reuters reports Walt Disney's theme parks' quarterly earnings surpassed Wall Street targets on Wednesday.
The high earnings will help offset big investments used to support the company's major foray into streaming.
Shares of Disney rose 1.5 percent to $137 in after-hours trading.
The company also announced **Avengers: Endgame** will stream exclusively on Disney+ starting December 11.
The latest **Avengers** film has so far made $2.2 billion in box office sales worldwide.
From January to March, Disney reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.61, while analyst estimates were at $1.58.
Disney+ is set to launch in November.
