According to Business Insider, it was not a Starbucks cup as many fans thought it was. Yet experts say the viral moment of fans thinking it was from Starbucks earned them millions in free publicity. It was estimated by a marketing agency that Starbucks would have had to pay $250,000 to $1 million to have the cup appear.
