TheWrap reports **The Hate U Give** star Amandla Stenberg has been cast in Damien Chazelle?s upcoming Netflix series, **The Eddy.**
Stenberg will take on a leading role alongside Andre Holland in the musical drama.
**The Eddy**, set in contemporary Paris, follows a club, its owner, the house band, and the city around them.
The series will be shot in France this spring and feature dialogue in French, English and Arabic.
Netflix has ordered eight episodes of the show.
Holland will play Elliot Udo, a celebrated jazz pianist from New York.
Stenberg plays his 15-year-old daughter Julie.
