SFGate reports author George R.R. Martin says three spinoff series will be coming to HBO in the future. Martin's ?A Song of Ice and Fire? fantasy book series are the source material for the hit HBO show. In a blog post on Saturday, Martin said of the five ?Thrones? spin-offs in development, ?three of them are still moving forward nicely.?
HBO previously confirmed the pilot for a Naomi Watts-led ?Thrones? prequel, set to begin production this summer. Martin said ?two other shows remain in the script stage, but are edging closer.? He added, ?What are they about? I cannot say. But maybe some of you should pick up a copy of ?Fire and Blood? and come up with your own theories.?
