Since ?Iron Man? in 2008, Marvel has offered hints at the future of the Cinematic Universe through its post-credits. Yet in the final ?Avengers: Endgame? film there wasn?t a post-credit scene offered to Marvel fans. According to Comicbook.com, directors Joe and Anthony Russo explained why they didn?t do it. Joe said: ?The book is closed on that chapter of the Marvel universe and a new book will get written." Anthony said this was the first film of the series they didn?t have to think about the future of the franchise.
