Jon plans to place the dragons near the heart tree, luring the Night King to Bran and burning him.
But the show has made a point of showing us several times that fire has no impact on the Night King.
The White Walkers and wights weaknesses seem to be dragonglass and Valyrian steel.
If that is all that will kill them, someone will need to come into close contact with the Night King.
Bran's abilities as the Three-Eyed Raven allow him to see the entire history of Westeros.
If the Night King manages to kill Bran, existence up to that point could be completely forgotten.
