According to SF Gate, Terry Rawlings, a British film and sound editor who was an Oscar nominee for his work on Best Picture winner ?Chariots of Fire,? has died.
Rawlings worked as a film editor on such films as ?Alien,? ?Blade Runner,? ?Legend,? ?Yentl? and ?Alien3.? He also worked as a sound editor between 1962 and 1977.
The London-born Rawlings had a 50-year career in film, beginning in 1955 and stretching until 2005. He?s also a 5-time BAFTA nominee, and in 2006 he received a career achievement award from the American Cinema Editors society.
