Broadcasting & Cable reports that a big name has stepped in to help rebuild Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
The historical landmark was severely damaged in a fire on Monday.
The Walt Disney Co. plans to donate $5 million dollars to help reconstruct Notre-Dame.
Disney CEO Bob Iger explained, ?Notre-Dame is a beacon of hope and beauty that has defined the heart of Paris and the soul of France for centuries, inspiring awe and reverence for its art and architecture and for its enduring place in human history."
The Walt Disney Company called the cathedral an "irreplaceable masterpiece," and sent their heartfelt support to "our friends and neighbors in the community." Notre Dame cathedral is the setting for Disney?s animated version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, made in 1996.
