CNN reports Amber Heard has released details about the alleged abuse that she faced at the hands of her ex-husband, actor Johnny Depp. Heard is in the midst of fighting a $50 million defamation suit Depp filed against her. In an affidavit, the actress says, "Whenever he was using I worried for both of us. He would become a totally different person, often delusional and violent. We called that version of Johnny, 'the Monster.'"
The court documents details instances in which Heard claims that Depp hit her, threw bottles, yelled at her, pulled out chunks of her hair and once strangled her. Heard says in the filing, "I remember being afraid that Johnny might not know when to stop, and that he might kill me." In response to the allegations, Depp's attorney said, "A hoax confronted with the reality of evidence requires new lies to sustain itself."
