SF Gate reports Tucker Carlson just won his very first month in cable news ratings with his show. The win comes amidst a boycott from many advertisers. ?Tucker Carlson Tonight? won cable news? top spot for the month of March in the 25-54 demo for the first time in the show's existence. In that age range, the program had an average of 537,000 viewers per night. Sean Hannity landed in second with 533,000.
Carlson's current program premiered in April 2017. Advertisers boycotted Carlson after liberal watchdog group Media Matters released audio that documented Carlson?s appearances on Bubba the Love Sponge's radio show between 2006 and 2011. In the recordings, Carlson was recorded making offensive remarks about women.
