VIDEO : Anti-Abortion Film ?Unplanned? Opens Weekend With $6 Million

Faith-based film distributor Pure Flix recently released an anti-abortion film called ?Unplanned.? According to SFGate, the film was very successful during it opening weekend reeling in $6.1 million. This number was double the amount the film was projected to receive by box office trackers. The film tells the true story of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinic director who left the organization. Johnson left and became a pro-life activist after witnessing an abortion and now tells her story on the big screen.
