VIDEO : Stephen King Hints At More Movie Remakes

Horror-genre author Stephen King is a big name in both the literature and film worlds. Many of his books have been made into films, such as Carrie, The Shining, and Misery. Many of the films based on his books have also had remakes in recent years, including a popular remake of 'IT' in 2017 that earned more than $700 million worldwide. Now, Comicbook.com reports King has hinted at more of the old movies getting remade. He told Entertainment Weekly in a recent interview, "I don?t know what to make of it, really. Every day I get another contract, another option, word that somebody is making this or that. ... There?s a huge hunger for story, because there?s so many different platforms now. It isn?t just the movies." On April 5th, a new adaptation of 'Pet Sematary' hits theaters, which was previously adapted into a film in 1989. 'IT: Chapter Two' hits theaters on September 6th .
