VIDEO : Sting Talks About Starring In Musical Based On His Childhood

Sting is set to start in the Tony-nominated musical ?The Last Ship? in 2020. According to Extra, the musical was inspired by Sting?s 1991 album ?The Soul Cages? and his childhood. Sting said: ?It?s more of a debt really, I?m repaying a debt because that town made me who I am.? The Grammy Award-winning artist said it?s ? a very emotional story? and sometimes he cries. ?The Last Ship?will run from Jan. 14 to Feb. 16, 2020 in the Ahmanson Theater.
