Comicbook.com reports there are 2 big contenders for fighting games that could earn a spot in the World Video Game Hall of Fame!

Players have the chance to vote on the nominated games to be inducted.

The World Video Game Hall of Fame currently houses games like Tetris, Pac-Man, Grand Theft Auto III, and Tomb Raider.

'Super Smash Bros. Melee' and 'Mortal Kombat' may be the latest added to the lineup!

The voting process is currently open until March 28th, and the winner will be announced in May.
