The outpouring of support toward Alex Trebek has not gone unnoticed by the long-time "Jeopardy!" host.
On Thursday, Trebek thanked the ?hundreds of thousands of people? who have wished him well following his cancer diagnosis.
Earlier this month he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Trebek announced his cancer diagnosis in a video message last week.
According to the American Cancer Society, the five-year relative survival rate for stage 4 pancreatic cancer is 3%.
Trebek has hosted "Jeopardy!" since 1984, and just renewed his contract with the show until 2022.
