VIDEO : New Suicide Squad Progresses Without Smith

James Gunn?s relaunch of Suicide Squad involves a great deal of new character creations and switch ups. It has fans wondering why actor Will Smith?s scheduling issues couldn?t be resolved by putting a hold on his character for now instead of a full-on recasting. Granted, UPROXX reports there are rumors that Idris Elba will be replacing Smith and everyone loves more Idris Elba. However confusion remains as to why Deadshot is such an essential character to include in the movie. This begs the question of how deep into the character Gunn plans to delve since roles will be switched up.
