On Monday, March 4, actor Luke Perry died after suffering a massive stroke. Perry had been rushed to hospital and was immediately placed under heavy sedation, says Extra. His family decided to remove life support five days after the stroke when he wasn't showing signs of recovery. His rep issued a statement saying Perry was surrounded by his extended family when he passed away. Around 800,000 people in the U.S. have strokes every year.
