VIDEO : Ariana Grande Blasts Critics Who Say She's 'Exploiting' The LGBTQ Community

Ariana Grande tweeted that she is thrilled to headline Manchester Pride Live on Aug. 25.
The annual LGBTQ Pride celebration comes about two years after a bombing killed 22 people at her concert in the British city.
But according to The Huff Post, some Twitter critics accuse the Grammy-winning singer of "exploiting" the LGBTQ community, since she reportedly identifies as straight and the prices of the tickets have doubled.
Ariana, an outspoken LGBTQ rights advocate, fired back with a note to critics that she posted to Twitter on Wednesday.
She says that she plans to ?to celebrate and support? the LGBTQ community through the upcoming performance ?regardless of my identity or how people label me.?
She also pointed out other stars that are straight, but also LGBTQ allies, like Cher and Kylie Minogue.
Ariana added, ?I do think there?s room for us to talk about these issues without equating a performance *for* an LGBTQ audience with exploitation of the LGBTQ community.?
