According to Comicbook.com, "On Tuesday, Gwyneth Paltrow announced her official retirement from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, stepping away from the role of Pepper Potts fans first met in Iron Man and while it's not a move that is a huge surprise -- Avengers: Endgame..." She told the press, "I mean, I?m a bit old to be in a suit and all that at this point. I feel very lucky that I did it, because I actually got talked into it. I was friends with [Iron Man director] Jon Favreau.
