BBC announced a new virtual reality special for Doctor Who fans.
A immersive virtual reality adventure starring the Thirteenth Doctor will be available on select VR headsets ?in the coming months.?
Geek.com says that the 12-minute drama will transport viewers on a ride through time and space?and drop them right into the center of the action. The new original story is set in the TARDIS.

Zillah Watson, head of BBC VR Hub believes that Doctor Who is the perfect person to help usher VR into the mainstream.
She explained, ?The show has been pushing boundaries for [more than] 55 years, and VR enables Doctor Who to explore a whole new dimension of storytelling.?
