Victoria's Secret model Shanina Shaik is speaking up regarding her role in the now infamous disaster known as the Fyre Festival. According to Business Insider, Shaik said; "The girls and I were just kind of dragged into it". Festival organizer, Billy McFarland made increasingly exaggerated claims about what guests could expect at the festival. Rather than the gourmet food and big-name musical acts they were promised, guests were greeted by wet tents, no toilets, and cheese sandwiches. As a result, McFarland was sentenced to six years in prison for multiple counts of fraud last year.
