When the Walt Disney Company moved to acquire 20th Century Fox, many worried about more adult characters like Deadpool.

However, on a recent earnings call, the CEO of Disney Bob Iger assured investors that Disney plans on keeping Deadpool rated R.

We?re going to continue in that business. There?s certainly popularity for movies like that.

According to i09, Iger said the company will be ?carefully branding [R-rated films]?so we?re not in any way confusing the consumer.?
