Liam Neeson recently revealed he plotted a racist revenge attack after someone he knew was raped.
He now has deep regret for his "horrible" behavior during a press tour for his new movie, "Cold Pursuit."
He did not reveal who was attacked but said he found out when he returned home from a trip.
Neeson apparently grew up around violence in Northern Ireland and from it he learned that revenge doesn't work.
"She handled the situation of the rape in the most extraordinary way... But my immediate reaction was ... did she know who it was? No. What colour were they? She said it was a black person.
"I went up and down areas with a cosh [crowbar], hoping I'd be approached by somebody. It was horrible, horrible, when I think back, that I did that. And I've never admitted that, and I'm saying it to a journalist." Liam Neeson
