VIDEO : Kevin Smith Thinks Tom Cruise Playing Wolverine Would Make a Billion Dollars

According to a report by Comicbook.com, earlier this week, director Kevin Smith joined collaborator, Marc Bernadin, to discuss a variety of topics, including the director's hope that one day Tom Cruise will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Smith offered an array of options for characters that Cruise could play, including Professor X, the villain Striker, and even Wolverine. Smith reportedly said, " Tom Cruise?s Wolverine makes a billion dollars.? All the characters Smith alluded to are a part of the X-Universe that Marvel is acquiring with its takeover of 20th Century Fox, however there is still no official news on when, or how, the characters will be introduced into the MCU.
