VIDEO : Ariana Grande's Japanese Tattoo Mishaps

Pop princess Ariana Grande recently got called out by her fans for a tattoo on her hand that was supposed to read "seven rings" in Japanese, the name of her newest single. However it was quickly pointed out that the two kanji characters paired together actually translates to "shichirin," which is a small barbecue grill. Business Insider reports that the following day, due to the advice of her Japanese tutor, Grande added an additional kanji character to correct the phrase. But again there was an error. Since Japanese is read vertically from top to bottom and horizontally right to left, the tattoo is now nonsensical. Unfortunately now, Ariana's hand translates to Japanese BBQ finger. Ariana may already be aware of the additional mistake, captioning the photo of the updated tattoo with the words "slightly better."
