VIDEO : 'Empire' Actor Jussie Smollett Reportedly Hospitalized In Potential Hate Crime

According to a report by Huffpost, early Tuesday morning, Empire actor Jussie Smollett was attacked in Chicago, in what police are calling a potential hate crime. Chicago Police confirmed that they received a report that a cast member of 'Empire' had been the victim of a "possible racially-charged assault and battery." TMZ reports that Smollet was admitted to Northwestern Memorial Hospital following the attack, but has already been released.
