Dua Lipa has released new music and is sharing an important message about AIDS activists.
The singer released a song called Swan Song for the Alita: Battle Angel soundtrack last week.
Huffington Post says, "the midtempo track is a defiant anthem of self-empowerment." In the video, Lipa walks across a dystopian landscape in "steampunk warrior mode."
?I won?t stay quiet, I won?t stay quiet, ?cause staying silent?s the same as dying. This is not a swan song.?
The pop star said the track was inspired by ACT UP, a global advocacy group that formed in 1987 in response to the HIV/AIDS crisis.
Alita: Battle Angel was written by James Cameron and directed by Robert Rodriguez and stars Rosa Salazar.
