VIDEO : The Mountain Goats Newest Album Is Inspired By 'Dungeons & Dragons'

The popular folk rock band The Mountain Goats are releasing a new album inspired by the worlds and themes of Dungeons & Dragons. According to comicobook.com, the album is titled "In League With Dragons." The band's lead singer and songwriter John Darnielle said the album is about a besieged seaside community called Riversend. He said that over time the album evolved to incorporate "weird noir" themes and "unexpected tangents." He went on to say that he "earnestly" hopes that the album will spawn a new genre called "dragon noir."
