VIDEO : Scammers Pretending To Be YouTube Stars

Business Insider reports that this week there is a new online scam, reported by YouTube.
The YouTube star Phillip DeFranco, warned subscribers not to trust any direct messages on YouTube pretending to come from his account.
The fake DeFranco account has promised "gifts" for clicking on a specified link.
The scam appears to be a fairly typical online phishing scheme.
It targets individuals to divulge personal information, like credit card and social security numbers.
