According to Comicbook.com, an ankle injury is keeping John Cena from competing at the Royal Rumbl and the WWE has announced that Braun Strowman is now going to step in and take his place. Before the announcement, the WWE had considered Cena's availability"questionable". However, based on the constant unpredictability of the WWE, Cena could enter late in the match and it would not be a surprise. In the end, Cena is expected to miss the new few months of wrestling due to his current role in Playing with Fire.
