Jean-Luc Picard will not be a Starfleet captain in the upcoming Star Trek series for CBS All Access.
Comicbook.com reports Jonathan Frakes (a.k.a. Riker in "The Next Generation") talked about his involvement with the new series.
Frakes hinted the TNG cast would be willing to join, but it may be unlikely.
...the feeling is also that it?s Patrick [Stewart]?s show. Having said that, I can?t imagine a world where there?s no reference to what happened to the rest of the [cast].
