Though the movie saw a 53 percent decline from the first weekend to the next, its weekend box office haul was enough to top the charts, while ?The Kid Who Would Be King? and ?Serenity? bombed.?The Kid Who Would Be King? earned $7 million and cost over $60 million.
The neo-noir thriller "Serenity" starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway launched at No. 8 with $4.8 million. It holds a 22 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Warner Bros.? ?Aquaman? took third place with $7.3 million during its sixth week of release.
