To the possible chagrin of its shareholders, Netflix has acquired yet another high-profile project. According to UpRoxx, Ron Howard will be directing "Hillbilly Elegy." The deal for the New York Times' best-seller adaptation of the same name mounts to $45 million ? a number that may or may not go over well shortly after Netflix announced across the board price hikes to meet increased costs.
