Fast and the Furious star, Vin Diesel, spilled the details about the film franchise's next spinoff.
There is a writing team that is already starting to bring Diesel's female led Fast and Furious movie to life.
He explains, "There are three new spinoffs that we have promised Universal. This week we heard a pitch for the Fast female protagonist driven spin-off I created in 2017..."
This announcement comes shortly after Michelle Rodriguez, the first lady of the Fast and the Furious franchise, threatened to quit ahead of the ninth installment, due to its mostly male cast.
The franchise's first spin-off, Hobbs and Shaw, based on ?The Rock? and Jason Statham?s characters from the original films ? will hit theaters in August.
