CNN reports that Chris Brown filed a defamation suit against a woman who accused the singer of raping her.
The woman claimed that Chris and two other men assaulted her in a Paris hotel room.
Brown and two other men were jailed on Tuesday as a result of her claims and also drug charges.
But they were released without being charged, just hours later.
Brown's attorney, Raphael Chiche filed the complaint on Thursday and said, "The facts are totally challenged by Mr. Brown and are insufficient to prosecute."
Brown wrote on Instagram, "... For my daughter and my family this is so disrespectful and is against my character and morals!!!!"
Chris Brown is no stranger to the police.
Since physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009, CNN says that he has had a string of run-ins with the law.
